Hey, nice to meet you! I’m the lead designer and owner of Nora Ellis Design. In April 2021, I left my 9–5 design job to run the studio full time, and I couldn’t be happier with the journey.

We’re a small, women-owned design studio that believes great brands start with real conversations. From first-time founders to established businesses, we partner with people who care about what they’re building, and help them share it with the world.
About Us
Long before there was a studio, there was Nora with a sketchbook. A lifelong love of fine art led her to a degree in graphic design, and her first freelance projects quickly showed her how much a thoughtful brand could change a small business.
Word of mouth did the rest. Commissioned artwork and logo projects arrived through referrals, and as Nora began sharing her process online, inquiries grew faster than she could have imagined. In April 2021, she left her full-time design job, took the leap, and officially turned her freelance practice into Nora Ellis Design.
Today, the studio is a women-owned team of 6: four graphic designers with their own creative strengths, a brand strategist who helps shape each brand’s story, and a business administrator who keeps every project on track. Together, we create strategic, heartfelt branding that helps businesses grow with confidence.
